Laurent Durieux illustrated the cover of La Septième Obsession #33 as part of a double feature focusing on Michael Mann and architecture. At the crossroads of the films Heat and Collateral , its image unfolds in an urban and nocturnal atmosphere, on the edge of interior (the diner) and exterior (the street) spaces. The composition is entirely governed by the intersection of horizontal and vertical lines, as well as an abyssal perspective that sinks into the night, contrasting with the oasis of light that illuminates the foreground. Laurent Durieux called this image In The Heat Of The Night .
